Will I be charged if the skip bin cannot be delivered?

It is your responsibility to ensure our drivers can access the selected delivery address. If a skip bin is unable to be delivered due to restricted access there will be an extra charge for redelivery once the address is accessible.

Where will the skip bin be placed?

Every attempt will be made to place the skip bin at the specified location, however, the final delivery placement will be at the discretion of Angel Waste (for example, if the requested location is too small or not safely accessible).

When do I need to make payment?

Payment is required upon booking your skip, unless otherwise discussed with Angel Waste.

What items can I place in the skip bins?

Items such as mattresses, tyres, and contaminated concrete are not listed under ‘general waste’ classification and cannot be placed in the skip bin. Dangerous items such as asbestos, explosive, flammable, or illegal items, are not to be placed in the skip under any circumstances. Items not accepted at local waste facilities will be returned. Charges will apply for additional disposal of these items, or for the return of dangerous/illegal items to you. Please contact us if you are unsure of what cannot be placed in the skip bins.

What if the driver is unable to pick up the skip bin on the scheduled day due to access issues?

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the skip bin is accessible at the time of pick up. If the driver is unable to access the skip bin (or if the skip bin is over the truck lifting capacity) you will need to pay an additional removal and travel fee.

What happens if the skip bin damages my driveway, pavement, pathway, lawn or other?

Whilst every precaution is taken when delivering and collecting the skip bins, Angel Waste does not accept responsibility for any damage as a result of loading and unloading the skip bin. Please see our full terms and conditions attached on our website.

Is there an extra charge for delivery?

Provided you are in our service area, delivery is included in our pricing. We cater to the ACT, Queanbeyan region.

How much weight does each skip bin allow?

Each skip bin has a weight allowance of 150kg per cubic meter included in the initial price of the skip bin.

2 cubic meter skip – 300kg

3 cubic metre skip –  450kg

4 cubic meter skip – 600kg

6 cubic meter skip – 900kg

For every 100kg over these weights, $20.00 extra will be charged to cover the additional disposal fees.

How much can I fill my skip bin up?

Skip bins contents must remain level with the top of the skip bin. Additional charges will apply if contents exceed the top of the skip bin. If the driver is unable to level the skip bin at the time of collection, additional fees will be charged for extra hire days and another pick up date.

How do I know which skip bin is right for me?

Can I extend the hire period?

Yes, please call us at least 24 hours prior to pick up to extend your hire. Extension periods are charged at 2m³& 3m³ $10 per day or $60 per 7 days, 4m³& 6m³ $20 per day or $120 per 7 days, 8m³& 10m³ $40 per day or $240 per 7 days. If you need to extend your hire within 24 hours of the scheduled pick up, a travel charge may be implemented.

Can I cancel my skip bin hire?

Yes, you may cancel your skip bin hire please contact our team on 0448 989 237 to discuss. Terms, conditions and fees may apply in accordance with the stage your skin bin hire process is at the time of cancellation.
